Welcome to DominaWeb.net, owned and operated by Frank Domina in Atlanta, GA.  This site serves two purposes:

I'm sure this new site will evolve over time as I develop more sites and/or as family members decide to have their personal pages hosted here.

The Personal / Family Side

My personal web site, hosted elsewhere since 1997, has moved here now that I have my own domain.  Additionally, long ago, I developed some software that I wanted to share -- primarily EzPacket, software for HAM radio operators, though now more than 15 years after I created it, it's fairly outdated...but still handy for new and "do-it-yourself" HAMs that like to build their equipment.

Sharing my life with out-of-town family and friends was by far the driving factor behind the evolution of my personal pages, which now include 100's of photos, personal videos, humorous / strange videos.  Now that I'm married and have an extended family out of town, we have even more to share on-line.  I also thought having a web page might be an interesting way for old friends I've lost touch with to find me if they did a search for my name on the web.

My in-home web cam has been down since we moved since Cheryl is more private and doesn't want to be on camera "live", but as a substitute I have it pointed out a front window for a view of the neighborhood.  It's usually on.

I'm going to start encouraging other family members to create some pages here too, but for now it's my pages and pages I've done for one of my niece's weddings.

For my relatives who are reading this, if you want some personal space and/or email address on DominaFamily.org, just call or email me and let me know what you would like.

The "Business" (Hobby) Side

What started out as a personal hobby has evolved into a tiny web development "business" -- not a real business, but I have created and host several web sites for close friends and a couple of their friends.  The sites I've done have all been done mainly as a source of enjoyment during the creation process, as well as to gain some commercial web development experience in case I ever decide to (or need to) point my career in that direction, though it would be a big transition from the highly technical software engineer career I now enjoy.

Links to all of the sites I've done are below.  Yes, the first three below look similar because all three business liked that particular layout, plus they had virtually no budget for web development being "newbies" to the web, but the web sites have done wonderfully.  M-Tech's business (below) has grown amazingly after launching their site, now accounting for a bulk of their business while making their sales work simpler, and HovercraftSales (also below) has a tremendous "hit" rate from hovercraft hobbyists and enthusiasts.

Please feel free to browse my personal pages though most of these are
all VERY old and outdated.  (I've pretty much just been updating the
kids' pages since we've had them):

About me, Frank. (AboutFrank.shtml) About me, Frank. Learn a little bit more about who I am, and if you're curious, see my resume.  (It's all at least 5 years out of date, but who has time to update things!)

Go to my photos My WWW photo album, which is a photo chronology of my life since about 1997.  This has apparently become the most popular thing about my web page for both my local and out-of-town friends.

Go to my videos My Videos from various events and funny/strange videos from cyberspace.

Frank & Cheryl's Wedding Pages Frank & Cheryl's wedding pages.

Go to my WebCam My WebCams If prompted, log in using user "WEBCAM" and password "FRANK", all in UPPER-CASE. (The logging in requirement is purely to keep search engines from getting to the webcam page because they sometimes inadvertently cause my webcam to crash.)

What are these? What are these bugs?.
Seriously!  What are these things?
If you're an entomologist, please take a look.

Download tools Tools.  If you happen to be someone like me that likes using the command line to do things, here are tools that I wrote a billion years ago and have kept them alive and well. My favorites are dircmp (a directory tree comparison tool) and dl (a directory listing tool) and global, a tool to let you execute a command on an entire directory tree.  Since some of them are for DOS and OS/2, as well as a few Win32-specific ones, when you unzip EAZY_014.ZIP, specify the option to create subdirectories (-d for PkUnzip).

Looking for my family members?

You can contact my immediate family members (wife, mother & siblings) using the form located here:

Their email addresses are NOT listed, in order to prevent spam, but if you use the form, your email will get through to them.

Randy & Natasha's Wedding Pictures  Also, my niece's husband Randy can be found at http://www.nestremodeling.com (home remodeling and renovation), and their wedding pictures are at the link below.

Randy & Natasha's wedding page,

Do you want to take home your entire pay check?
Do you want to stop being punished for being successful?
Do you want to to be rewarded for saving for your own future?
Do you want to eliminate the jobs of many Washington lobbyists?
Do you want power taken from politicians and returned to the people?
Well...The Fair Tax does all of that...and more.

These are the sites I developed and maintain:

www.hovercraftsales.com HovercraftSales.com was the first site I created for my best friend, Gary Jensen.  Hovercrafting is his hobby and he has a side business of selling them. Check it out -- he's gotten many complements on the site.  There are some cool pictures and videos, and maybe you'll even become interested enough to buy a hovercraft of your own!

www.mtechsales.com M-Tech Sales & Supply is owned by Gary's friend Mark.  He sells just about everything to do with fabricating metal - tubing benders, notchers, cold, band and chop saws, tubing polishers, ring rollers, magnetic drills and even iron workers -- just about everything else you can imagine. Getting his own web site has proven to be a great move for his business.  He now gets at least 50% of his business due to the web site -- an incredible return on his investment.  Does your business need a web site?

www.bairdsdecorating.com Baird's Drapery Service is co-owned by another friend of Gary's.  Baird's does custom draperies and custom bedding, among other things.  It's not a consumer business -- they work with designers in the trade.  I might have given it a different look myself, but of course the owners get what they want.  Let me give your small business the site you want!

Black Tie Draperies - www.BlackTieDraperies.com Black Tie Draperies is owned in part by the same friend of a friend who owns Baird's (above).  This is their consumer business offering in-home sales of high end designer quality draperies, blinds and accents off the shelf as well as custom window treatments.

Wembley Forest is the site of the neighborhood where I currently live. There isn't much there for outsiders; it's for the owners/residents.

The Ecstatic Artisan The Ecstatic Artisan is a small site I did for a coworker of a friend.  It's still pretty new and needs more content, but it's serving the owner's purpose -- showing off her craft (unique handmade necklaces, earrings, mobiles, etc.).  I'm sure I'll be updating it as she provides content and requests.

PermitDrivers - Safety Magnetic Car Stickers PermitDrivers is a tiny site I did for the sister of someone I grew up with and knew since kindergarten.  She promoting safer, calmer roadways by selling magnetic stickers for cars of drivers who are driving on a learner's permit.  The idea is to inform nearby drivers that the driver is new to the road, and thus to be patient and courteous. Not a bad idea!  If you have a teen-driver in your family, go buy one of these magnetic vehicle signs.

PermitDrivers - Safety Magnetic Car Stickers BonnieLaw is a site I put together for Luanne Bonnie, a good friend of mine who has opened up her own law practice in Decatur, GA.  Some of her areas of practice are wills, trusts, estate planning, probate, guardianships and elder care.

If you don't need me for your web site development or hosting, but are looking for an excellent registrar that also has excellent pricing, I highly recommend registering your domain name with Dotster.com.  I use them and all of my customers do too.  They have on-line management of your domain that is simple to use and makes managing your domain a breeze.  Click on their logo to the left and sign up with them and you'll be helping me out to earn free renewals for myself.

If you have comments or questions about me or EzPacket, or if you would like me to develop a web site for your small business, e-mail me at or use my web contact form. (Or you can try out your telepathy skills, but I think e-mail will probably be much more reliable).
